Celebrate and Tune Into Guru Ram Das
With all the changes outside and inside of us, our priorities and realities are shifting. As we continue to adjust and reassess over time, consider meditating with us in your home for two and a half hours this Saturday to balance, reset and realign so that you can work to uplift yourself to act in alignment with your truth. We will meditate in prime meditation hours (4:30-7:15 AM) before the mind kicks into its busiest day time state. A longer meditation like this is a great de-stressor. This meditation has no cost, and the zoom link is posted below. We will do 15 minutes of yoga to warm up the body before sitting to clean our minds.
This is a special time of year to imagine new horizons and new chapters, to be creative and reinvent your intentions for the future. It is ideal to put energy into what is already clear for you, even as some other areas of your life may still be coming into clarity. The mantra we will be using helps to open the heart center to create patience with others, and an unfolding of our truth. What we thought was true in the past may have shifted as our eyes have opened more completely in the dawn of this new age if we are paying attention.
This week is a great time to think outside of the box as you do your goal planning and set your intentions for the rest of the year, and even longer term, life goals. Write them with positive, specific language in gratitude, with the highest good for all concerned. This is a very powerful time for fulfillment of our intentions and prayers – a time of new beginnings, and of making the impossible possible.
Saturday, October 9th, 2021 is the anniversary of the birth of Guru Ram Das who is an important part of the Golden Chain whenever we tune in with Ong Namo to practice Kundalini Yoga. On this day, we celebrate and tune into Guru Ram Das, whose spirit of service and healing lives on with a special Sadhana (spiritual practice) chanting a mantra in the early morning hours of 4:30 AM to 7:15 AM. This chant is Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru which is known for protection, guidance and helping to make the impossible possible. It is chanted with five repetitions on one breath. This mantra along with many others are considered to be part of a sound current that can open us to our inner knowing through the movement of the navel and the tongue on the upper palate which stimulates the hypothalamus and pituitary to adjust brain chemistry helping us to become more aware.
Please let anyone know who might like to be included–anyone is welcome–whether you come for part or all of the chanting. If you cannot join us at this time on Zoom, you can also meditate with your hands on your heart center any time on Oct 9, and/or recite Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru at home for 11 minutes. Visualize in gratitude your miracles already manifesting, and vibrate that feeling with good to all, and in the awareness of the one universal source energy flowing through each of us.
Your outer world is a reflection of your inner nucleus and subconscious vibrating and projecting over time to help manifest your present. If you want to change or improve your outer reality, it always takes effort, but the biggest leverage comes if you start by planting a seed/your vision and new intentions within. If you can’t imagine it, it probably won’t happen. This day connects you more directly to your creativity, expansive mind and the compassion of your heart center to open up to new horizons and possibilities.
Yoga Source is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
