Mindful Self-Compassion is an 8-week holistic wellness program that combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion to enhance emotional resilience. Participants learn to turn toward and acknowledge difficult thoughts and feelings (such as inadequacy, sadness, anger, confusion) with mindfulness and respond with kindness rather than self-criticism.  Research has shown that self-compassion enhances emotional well being.

Class dates: Tuesdays, January 14 – March 10, 2020, 12:15 – 3:00 PM.
Professionals can earn up to 27.5 CEs.
Cost: $550 General Public, $645 Professionals for CEs.

Dr. Theroux is a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist, working in private practice since 1995. She is certified to teach MBSR by the Oasis Institute at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and a Trained Teacher in Mindful Self-Compassion at the University of California at San Diego.
